What do you find?

Bacteria isolation
Molecular identification
Approximately 200 bacteria were isolated from the different pesticide treatments. Some bacteria were identified molecularly. 10 different species of bacteria belonging to different types of lactobacillus and bifidobacteria were isolated.

Microbiota of honeybees exposure to pesticides
16S rRNA sequencing
The initial outcomes of the metagenomic analysis of the 16s rRNA gene reveal a notable reduction in the abundance of bacterial communities at the phylum level in pesticide-treated samples compared to the control.

Characterization of bacteria
Antibiotic resistance
We evaluated if some isolated bacteria had resistance to antibiotics.
Based on EFSA breakpoints, 55% of the bacteria were susceptible to ampicillin, while all bacteria (100%) were susceptible to chloramphenicol, erythromycin, and tetracycline.
